Education:
I grew up here in the Mukilteo School District; attending Mukilteo Elementary, Olympic View Middle School, and Kamiak High School! After high school I attended Eastern Washington University and graduated with my BAE degree in Elementary Education in 2007. After subbing in Mukilteo School District for a year I was thrilled to be hired on as a full time teacher! I taught 4th grade for one year and 2nd grade last year! I'm happy to be back in 4th Grade here at Horizon Elementary!
Outside of School:
Although teaching 4th grade is probably my favorite thing in the world, some of my other favorite things to do when I'm not at school are reading, knitting, and playing with my two Boston Terriers, Bruiser and Stitch! I've also been VERY busy planning my upcoming "Big, Fat, Greek" summer wedding!
